Applewood is a community where the homes are on average over 30 years old.  The homes although older, do maintain well-kept neighbourhoods showing a clear sense of pride in their homes. The homes in Applewood range from townhouses, semi-detached as well as detached homes, all of which range in pricing but is an affordable neighbourhood.

With Applewood being an older community, there is a need in certain homes for renovations; however, with the size of lots as well as the family oriented nature that is present it is beneficial to buy within this community.  Applewood does lack urbanization that may be found in areas such as Mississauga City Centre, but even with that this area will make a safe place to raise your children without the worry of busy roads that are present in other communities.

There are parks, which allow for evening or day strolls to keep a sense of the outdoors alive and well in your every day life.

These are the schools located within the Applewood location, they are a combintation of both Catholic and Public schools.
