Meadowvale is overall an older community, with some homes and pockets of the community being around 40 years old. The benefits to Meadowvale is the size of lots and homes that homebuyers are capable of attaining with the affordable prices. There is a range of home styles available from townhouses in northern Meadowvale which are primarily structured in their original 1970s style. The semi-detached available are dispersed over Meadowvale though are apparent in north Meadowvale, these lots are larger in size for that of semi-detached homes.
On average these homes are well maintained and appeal to homebuyers, with some renovations these homes could see added benefits to their appearance and curb appeal. The detached homes, range in age but are primarily a 1970s, and 1980s style with the majority of the larger homes being located on the main streets though there are a few found in crescents or courts. The newer detached homes built in the 1980s and 1990s are located west of Winston Churchill, here there is a more modern approach to the design and curb appeal.
The community although at one time was primarily farmland; it now is a vibrant community that caters to vast number of amenities and parks in particular the Meadowvale Conservation Area which has picnic areas and barbecues for its residents to enjoy. With that said, similar to any other community that has homes that are over a certain age, renovations are possible. However, this area has begun to see an increase of interest from homebuyers as it has a wonderful family oriented community within it that appeals to many, along with its affordability. Meadowvale is a diverse community mixed with numerous cultural backgrounds.
