City Centre

City Centre is the downtown area of Mississauga.  This community has over the last 20 years seen an incredible growth of population and buildings; it gives the downtown Toronto feeling without having to leave Mississauga. The homes that are found here is not the typical cookie cutter detached homes found in other neighbourhoods in Mississauga, though there are some pockets that contain detached homes and semi detached around the Rathburn Road area.  The most notable condo in design is that of the Marilyn Monroe buildings, notable for its shape. There is a combination of old and new condos, the older condominiums being built around 25 years ago.  Though they may be older than condos like the Marilyn Monroe buildings they are still relatively up to date and maintained.

The newer modern condominiums are taking on designs and architecture that is different than seen in other areas. The amenities that are available in the area are endless, with Square One mall, which consists of numerous high-end shops to explore, restaurants from fine dining to your casual pub, for the children there are such places as Playdium home to many video games, go karts, baseball cages, and so much more.

The Living Arts Centre is wonderful for those who like to enjoy performers, musicians, and artists.  For those that commute either around Mississauga or other areas of the GTA, there is quick access to highway 403 or QEW which connect to others allowing for commuters to have easy commuting experiences.  The community is predominately couples, singles, and small families creating a vibrant nightlife as well as quaint areas for families around Rathburn Road.
